I was 19 in Bangkok, Thailand when I first experienced the Horrors of Human Trafficking. I was standing on the red light district with two friends. We were doing surveys with the men who were buying the prostitutes. I was in the middle of a survey when one of the Thai prostitutes started pulling my arm and asking me about Jesus. She pulled me and my friend aside and proceeded to tell us her story. She had been trafficked when she was 12. A man got her pregnant and let her have the child. After she had the child he stole the child and threw her back into prostitution. She said that she is a mom before she is a prostitute, and if there really is a God is He watching over her son? I was able to speak truth into her life that day. I was able to tell her that God is not only watching over her son but He’s watching over her. This is the reason I do what I do. Jesus is with the prostitute. Jesus is with the hungry and the lost. So if I have Jesus in me then I should be with them too. My name is Arielle Christine and I Am A Missionary.
